Add a Link to a File Within a Text Section

This adds a link to a file within text- for example in a forum post or Wiki.

1. In the text editor, highlight the words you'd like to become a link. Once you highlight the text you can enter the URL in the space provided in link icon that appears below your text. 

To upload a file, follow the same directions as for media. Browse Repositories and select the place - computer or Google Drive - most likley to search for the file you want. Use one of the links at left to add it from your Private Files, a Course files folder, Google Drive, etc.

5. Click "Upload this file".

6. You'll have a link to your file.
