Description: This course combines studio art and art history in an examination of collage and assemblage--art made from the found and collected debris and assemblage of the contemporary world. Questions of memory, history, fragmentation, ecology, and language will be explored in the making of assemblages from found, recycled, harvested and created images and objects.
