This class is largely hands-on and exploratory, we will discuss relevant scientific concepts and the basic mathematics governing the world of electronics, but this class is far more practical than scientific. A majority of the class time will be spent working on a set of projects ranging in difficulty and skill set required to complete them, the student will be able to choose projects which fit their previous experience or inexperience with electronics. We will learn about the basic components that comprise the world of electronics. We will be dissecting old electronics devices, learning about their innards and parting out useful components which will be used in later projects. There will be no required readings, but there will be an extensive library of PDFs available to each student as well as physical books which students can read on their on time.
