This screenwriting workshop is designed for advanced Division II and Division III students working in film. Participants will not receive a formal course evaluation; rather the workshop is meant to be a resource for serious film students who are interested in developing an existing idea or work-in-progress. The focus of the workshop will be on screenwriting structure, with specific attention paid to the structure of narrative feature films. Other issues to be addressed include character development, dialogue, scene structure, and the distinction between plot, theme and method.
